On 17 October, Tallboy & Moose turns 10 years old.
Ten years of brewing in Preston. Ten years of pouring beers, feeding people, throwing parties, making questionable naming decisions and generally seeing how far we can push an idea before someone tells us to stop.
And, most importantly, 10 years of beers.
So for our tenth birthday, we’re digging into the Tallboy archives and bringing some of them back.
10 YEARS OF BEERS
Over the past decade we’ve brewed a lot of beer. Some became firm favourites. Some disappeared before their time. Some were wonderfully weird. And some probably deserve another chance.
Over the coming months, we’ll be cranking up the Tallboy Time Machine and revisiting beers from across our first ten years — old favourites, forgotten gems and a few releases that haven’t seen the light of day in a very long time.
First out of the machine is Deep Steep, our 5.6% Amber Ale with Chamomile — and, fittingly, the very first beer ever brewed under the Tallboy & Moose name.
There’ll be plenty more where that came from.

The big birthday lands on Saturday 17 October, and we’ll be celebrating at the brewery in Preston.
We’ll share all the details as we get closer, but expect beer, food, music, old favourites, new surprises and a very Tallboy way of marking a decade.
If you’ve drunk a beer with us, worked with us, played a gig here, brought your dog, celebrated a birthday, spent too long at trivia, eaten too much Sunday roast or just wandered in for one and stayed for several — you’re part of the story.
