The Maltings
Immerse yourself in a true brewery pub experience with the smell of fresh hops and glistening stainless steel brewing vats in our large semi-private space. Perfect for groups of up to 100 people. We can also create a floorplan that suit your individual needs.

Watch the brewery magic happen at the rear of the brewpub, next to our stunning beer vats, in this intimate semi-private space. Perfect for groups of up to 50 people.

The Grain Store
With a large outside vista bursting with sunlight, The Grain Store offers an open space for 13 to 30 people at the front of the brewpub.

The Hop Yard
Our beautiful beer garden outside the brewpub is the perfect semi-private space to enjoy the sun and a cold brew. Suitable for groups of 25 to 45 people.

LAGER THAN LIFE
Can we book the entire venue?
Yes, but only under very special circumstances.
Can we come for a tour?
Absolutely! We’d love to show you around and help you visualise the event.
What happens to my deposit?
It is up to you whether you use your deposit as part of your required minimum bar spend, or have it refunded once your final payment is made.
Are we allowed to bring entertainment?
All entertainment e.g. DJs, performers, or bands must be approved by Tallboy & Moose. We reserve the right to manage the entertainment while at the venue.
Can we host a function on Mondays or Tuesdays?
We are closed during the day on Mondays and Tuesdays to brew, but can accommodate bookings after 4pm.
Can we decorate the space?
Yes, however unless approved by us, please don't use decorations that require blu tac, tape or other adhesives. All balloons must be secured, and please, no confetti, streamer poppers, glitter, or stickers.
Are outside catering services permitted?
Because we have our own kitchen, we do not allow external catering. However, it is OK to bring desserts that we approve beforehand. A $2 cake fee is required unless you bring your own paper plates and cutlery.
Parking & PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Plenty of free street parking is available near the brewpub. You can take Tram 86 to the Raglan St/Plenty Rd Stop, or the Merinda Line train to Bell Station.

My partner and I held our engagement party at Tallboy and Moose and it was an absolute ball! The staff were wonderful to work with and really helped us to bring our vision to life. Lisa was wonderful at communicating and helped us make minor adjustments leading up to the date. Food was plentiful and drinks were of course delicious.

The only thing I regret about my visit is not coming sooner!! I am so pleased that I finally made it to Tallboy and Moose, it has been on my list for a while. Now that I know how great the space is and how excellent the food it, I'll be back soon, maybe even this week! I love that they have a bunch of food deals throughout the week, they do beer tasting paddles and they have a table tennis table! woo! You absolutely need to check out this place, especially their Sunday night grill platter.

What a great relaxed & friendly venue. One of those places you can feel at home from the moment you arrive. The bar staff were great, quick, friendly service and happy to have a chat about craft beer in general. I had always thought highly of Tallboy & Moose from drinking their packaged beer, but I was very impressed by the variety and quality of their tap list. Highly recommend!
