Stout, 5.2%

Inspired by true epicness, Tribute Stout is rich, smooth, and dark-as-night. Layers of roasted malt bring deep chocolate and espresso notes, while a gentle bitterness keeps everything beautifully balanced.

Where the name came from?

WHY TRIBUTE

Our brewer at the time was named Jack, the beer was black, and somehow that naturally led us to Jack Black and Tenacious D.

So when it came time to name the stout, Tribute just felt right. Whether it’s the greatest stout in the world or just a tribute… we’ll let you decide.

WHERE STOUTS CAME FROM

Stout’s story begins in London in the 1700s, where “stout” simply meant “strong” beer. It was originally used to describe stronger versions of porter, a dark, malty beer popular with working-class drinkers.

Over time, stout evolved into its own distinct style, with Ireland becoming its spiritual home thanks to iconic breweries like Guinness. The style became famous for its roasted barley character, creamy texture, and unmistakable dark colour.

From humble pub origins to global recognition , stout has remained a beer style built on depth, simplicity, and character.

What is an Export Stout?

An Irish Export Stout is a stronger, more robust version of a traditional Irish stout. Think of it as the export-ready cousin of the classic pub pint.

Originally brewed to travel further afield than Ireland, these stouts were made with a little extra strength and resilience so they could survive long journeys by sea. The result is a beer that’s typically darker, richer, and more full-bodied than a standard dry stout.

Expect deep roasted malt character, notes of coffee and dark chocolate, and a dry, slightly bitter finish that keeps you coming back for another sip. It’s bold, but balanced. Smooth, but powerful.
