ABOUT THE BEER
Fresh Kush is a West Coast-style IPA brewed with 100% Australian hops - wet Galaxy cones, Galaxy pellets, and a dose of Vic Secret for extra punch. Dank, resinous, and bursting with citrus, passionfruit and tropical vibes, it showcases the bold character of freshly harvested Galaxy.
Crisp and dry with a clean finish, Fresh Kush is our limited, seasonal tribute to Aussie hops at their peak.
WHO ARE 'HPA'?
Hop Products Australia (HPA) is the country's leading hop grower, renowned for cultivating iconic varieties like Galaxy® and Vic Secret™.
With farms in both Southern Tasmania and North-Eastern Victoria, HPA produces approximately 90% of Australia's hops, contributing around 2% to the global supply. Their Victorian farms, located in the Buffalo Valley near Bright in the High Country, span over 300 hectares and trace their origins back to the 1890s Gold Rush era.
Every year, brewers from all over make the pilgrimage to see the harvest and get their hands on wet hops - because nothing beats hops straight off the bine.

About the brew day
To brew Fresh Kush, the Tallboy crew hit the road and headed to Bright to pick up the Galaxy fresh hop cones direct from HPA. While we were there, we toured the hop fields and soaked in the sights (and smells!) of harvest season. Our IPA got brewed the very next day - hop at it's freshest and we're stoked to share it with you!
