ABOUT THE BEER
Say hello to our decadent Nanaimo Bar Stout - a rich, dessert-inspired treat brewed in collaboration with Third Moon Brewing from Milton/Ontario.
This sweet stout was dreamed up during a brainstorm with Whitehart for their 'Pint of Origin'-event and it brings layers of chocolate, coconut and vanilla together in one luscious pour. Indulgent, nostalgic and proudly Canadian - it's the Third Moose in the room.
WHO ARE THIRD MOON?
Third Moon Brewing, based in Milton, Ontario, has been making waves since 2020 with their bold, flavour-packed beers. These folks are all about brewing what they love to drink - think hazy, juicy IPAs, over-the-top pastry stouts loaded with chocolate, coconut and maple, and fruity sours that are as fun as they are delicious.

A Nanaimo Bar is a no-bake Canadian classic with a crumbly chocolate-coconut base, creamy custard middle and rich chocolate top - sweet, layered and totally nostalgic. It’s named after the city of Nanaimo, B.C. and it’s basically Canada in dessert form. About the brew day
The brewday kicked off with a video chat with the legends at Third Moon - great to meet them virtually and chat through the concept and recipe.
Once the plan was locked in, the crew from Whitehart swung by Tallboy & Moose to get stuck into the brew with us. Good vibes, lots of laughs and the sweet smell of Nanaimo Bar Stout in the making!
