IPA WITH TERPENES, 6%

A hoppy, prehistoric beast with dank, piney aromas and a bite of citrus!

ABOUT THE BEER

Prepare for a prehistoric punch of dankness! This IPA roars with Terpenes, aromatic compounds found in 'plants' that give it a fierce, resinous aroma. Think tropical jungle with a side of citrus and pine.

WHAT ARE TERPENES?

Terpenes are natural compounds in hops (and other plants) that shape the flavours and aromas of your beer. They're behind the tropical fruit, citrus, pine, and herbal notes you taste and smell. Different hops contain different terpenes, and the combination used in brewing affects the final flavor profile of the beer.

Brewers can now use extracted and concentrated terpenes, allowing them to fine-tune a beer's character with precision. Whether you're picking up juicy mango, sharp citrus or earthy pine, it's the terpenes working their magic to give each beer its unique personality.

ABOUT THE KING LOUIS TERPENE STRAIN

The King Louis terpene strain we used in Dankodactyl is a nod to its roots in the cannabis world, famous for its strong, earthy, piney aroma with a hint of citrus. It's known for delivering a relaxing, calming vibe - just like its namesake from the weed scene. When used in beer, it brings those same bold, woodsy flavors to the table, adding a dank, forest-like complexity.

We're letting the dino loose!

About the brew day

Yes, we let the Dino loose in the brewery and it's going to go for another run for the launch of our Dankodactyl IPA.

On Saturday, 26 October, we're hosting a DINO DASH, a pub crawl along the 86 tramline where we hand out free beer. When? What? How you can get involved? Follow us on our Socials!
