Inspired by Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit trees, it's brewed with the super fancy, new LalBrew Pomona™ hybrid yeast. Bibo Ergo Sum is mega juicy with notes of peach, mango, and pineapple. Go ahead and get onto it! Carpe diem, right?

ABOUT THE YEAST

Our Hazy IPA owes its unique character to the innovative LalBrew Pomona™ hybrid yeast. This new yeast strain was developed by our supplier Lallemand's partner Escarpment Laboratories in Canada. It's the result of cutting-edge biotechnology, specifically designed for the creation of fruit-forward beers. LalBrew Pomona™ yeast enhances the fruity esters and thiols, amplifying the beer's natural fruitiness.

About the brew day

We were thrilled to have the team from our favourite cocktail bar Kitty Somerset join us for the brew day of 'Bibo Ergo Sum' Hazy IPA.

You can find their cosy venue further down High St towards Northcote, where you can drink our Sunray Pale or choose something delicious from their cocktail menu.

Our staff have been regulars at Kitty Somerset for a number of years and we were so excited to show them around our humble little brewery.
