Tallboy & Moose Brewpub FOH-Manager Position
Tallboy & Moose, an independent brewery located in Preston, are now seeking a passionate, customer service focused FOH Manager to help lead and drive the daily operations of our brewery venue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all areas of FOH management, excellent customer service skills and a genuine enthusiasm for beer.

What we’re looking for:
- An experienced leader with a proactive approach to delivering quality “customer first” service
- Someone who knows how to hustle and lead their team in both quiet and busy service periods
- Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills
- Strong problem solving skills in and out of service
- Cash handling and reconciliation with weekly reporting to the management team
- Experience in rostering and staff management based on set KPI’s (Currently using Deputy)
- Experience with bookings and events (Experience with NowBookIt is a plus)
- Experience with POS systems (Lightspeed currently used)
- Experience with P/L’s is a plus, understanding COG’s, wages and other costs.
- Somebody comfortable with manual handling of kegs and venue set ups and pack downs
- Experience in stock management (stocktaking and ordering as well as menu development)
- Passion for beer a plus 🍻
What you’ll be doing:
- General Duties - Rostering, stocktakes, ordering, reporting, menu development and over all venue strategy. Everything that will drive the growth and future success of the brewpub.
- Service - Leading by example to ensure high quality “customer first“ service and a positive guest experience at all times.
- Team Leadership - Oversee, motivate and guide the team during service, ensuring efficient operations and a positive guest experience.
- Daily Venue Operations - the basics of day-to-day management of the venue, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
- Events/Functions - Responding to function enquiries and engaging our marketing and events manager and chef to ensure smooth execution and a great experience.
